Municipal Charity Federation conferred with “Prize for China Charity Advanced Organizations”
July 16th, Meeting of 15th anniversary of the foundation of China Charity Federation and Commending Conference for the prize of Outstanding Contribution to China Charity Cause is held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing ceremoniously. And over 800 delegates of charity organizations and individuals and enterprises attend the meeting. Jining Charity Federation is conferred with “Prize for China Charity Advanced Organizations” and Jiaohua, director of Jining the First People Hospital, Xu Fujing, president of Jiu Julong Group, and Wu Guanghua, secretary of Communist Party of China of Jining Medical Academy and director of an affiliated hospital of Jining Medical Academy are conferred with “Prize for China Charity Prominent Contribution figures” and Li Chenxing, chairman of Charity Federation in Wenshang County, is conferred with “Prize for China Charity Superior Workers (Volunteers)”.
“Prize for China Charity Prominent Contribution” emphasizes on honoring those including the loving-care figures and enterprises (involving oversea Chinese and people of china origin and foreign companies in china) especially in fighting against the disaster of freezing rain and snow and 5.12 earthquake relief, and the advanced charity organizations and workers, the charity projects with superior social benefit, the charity volunteers who participate in charity cause and have great achievement for a long time as well etc. since 1997.
Municipal Charity Federation adheres to the plan of development of “facilitating development with credibility and strengthening ability with innovation” and creates charity cause brand, “spreading love and satisfying it” and forms the operation network of charity organization of “being five in one and four-level linkage” and push forward with the fast and steady development of Jining Charity Cause. Until now, Municipal Charity Organization has raised a total of 71,700,000 RMB, including charity named fund of 84,069,300 RMB, distributing charity materials and money with a total of 101,000,000 RMB and helping needy people with a number of 169,200. Cumulative donation that Jining Charity organization raises in Sichuan Earthquake Relief (including materials having a worth of 6,255,600 RMB) is 84,069,300 RMB, of which materials that Municipal Charity Federation directly raises have a worth of 49,685,600 RMB. And materials in fighting against freezing rain and snow disaster have a worth over 600,000 RMB. Jining Charity Federation innovates on volunteer service system and has 40,700 charity volunteers, facilitates “civil charity” entering thousands of households. And it is reported as the advanced model by Propaganda Office of Committee of Communist Party of China of Shandong Province and Propaganda Office of Committee of Communist Party of China of Jining Municipality and its experience of charity volunteers is exchanging around Shangdong Province.
